ABOUT US
     

We are a strong and active Club which provides a varied programme of activities throughout the year for our members.

A twice yearly Newsletter is distributed to all Club members either by post or email. This includes details of all forthcoming activities. To receive the Newsletter by email members need to have both a computer and a printer. 

The Chairman maintains a list of members' email addresses so that we may pass on information as appropriate from time to time. If you would like to be on that list please email the Chairman. The list is used for the Club's purposes only.

Activities throughout the year usually include:

-     3 lunches - in Spring, Summer and the highly popular Christmas one to be held at The Midland Hotel, Manchester, from 2017

-    free Coffee Mornings   

-   Tenpin Bowling, followed by a light lunch 

-   2 leisurely Walks

-   a Day Trip

-   Theatre/Concert visits

-   the AGM with a free light lunch.

At these events former colleagues can meet old friends and reminisce, as well as catch up on news. 

All activities are partially subsidised by the Club but members pay a contribution towards the cost.

New members are always welcome. If you arrive not knowing anyone, the Committee is on hand to introduce you.
