WELCOME to the website of Barclays Bank Manchester Retired Staff Club.
Barclays subsidises a network of some 55 Pensioners’ Clubs around the country which help retired colleagues to maintain links and meet other pensioners with similar experiences.
Manchester Retired Staff Club has approximately 1,100 members and covers a large part of the northwest region (which is effectively the area which was previously supervised by Manchester Regional Office).
The Club covers the following postcode areas: BB1-12, BLO-9, OL1-16, M1-46, SK1-17, WA1-7, WA13-16, CW1-12, WN1-7.
The Club has been in existence in its current format for some 40 years.
The object of the Club is to arrange social, recreational and welfare facilities for the pensioners of Barclays Bank and any associated companies or sections.
Membership is open to anyone:
who retired from active Barclays service with an immediate pension,
or any former member of staff, aged 50 or over, receiving a deferred pension and who completed at least 15 years’ service with Barclays
together with the widows or widowers of any such persons who have died.
Members on the Club’s mailing list are invited to pay an annual subscription (not mandatory) of £5 by Standing Order.
